Creativity: Gift or Curse?

Journal Entry: Thu Feb 10, 2005, 8:31 PM
Recently had a small debate with friends. Essentially, it began as a discussion of artwork and aesthetics. Then, of course, it inevitably lead to critiques of our own pieces.

Declaring to a friend and myself, one said that we were so gifted with our ability to create and inspire.

Personally, I consider it a pain in the ass. I'm sure there are those of you who know when creative urges come and bite you on ass, you end up not sleeping that night; staying awake to all hours to finish that one piece.

Gift..pfft. Somedays, I'd just like to sleep.

Not a problem, cypher. Feel free to leave comments on my works.

And speaking of my works, because of the reviews I've gotten both posted and mailed, I begining to think I should have places Blue versus Gold into the Waterscapes Collection. Maybe I will.

Thanks. I enjoy creating waterscapes with sunrises or sunsets. Adds a nice effect to the water.
